Collaborative brain breaks
Our first day of 'brain breaks' - moving, dancing, exercising to music in between collaborative writing and R.E., reading and maths, and phonics and topic. Great idea! It will be a routine we will enjoy Mondays to Thursdays.

Happy birthday Mai!
Thanks so much to Mai's Mum who provided us with a birthday lunch for Mai's 7th birthday today ... Hawaiian pizzas and a chocolate birthday cake. A lovely surprise for Mai and room 3. What a great treat for a Monday! We appreciated it! Happy birthday Mai!

Duffy Theatre
Today we enjoyed Duffy Theatre. Duffy introduced the topic of Climate Change and how we could do little things to reduce the effect it has on our earth, such as making every drop of water count and walking or biking whenever possible. This made a lot of sense to us after our learning last week about the Caritas Lenten theme for 2017 - Just Water: Climate Change in the Pacific.

Kath Bee
Kath Bee is a New Zealand singer/songwriter. Today we had the pleasure of listening to her and participating with her. It was a lovely treat after our wet lunch hour!
