Speeches

Here we are presenting our speeches to Room 5. Miss Goldsworthy and I marked the speeches. Here is the format we used for marking: 

• Body of speech is well organised 
• Speech holds audience attention 
• Voice heard clearly 
• Varies tone of voice
•  Looks up during speech and uses hands or face gestures well.  

Congratulations to Sarah, Ariana, Tanaki, Amy and Angel who will present their speeches to the junior syndicate on Monday.

150 nights

Congratulations to Sjahn and Tyler for achieving 150 nights reading at home... great role models for Room 3!

Environmental detectives

Room 3 have started the process of becoming environmental detectives .... here we are enjoying our first task card:

OUR SPEECHES

Room 3 are very excited about presenting their speeches about 'someone who is close to them'. We have been working hard at writing 4 paragraphs. We have drafted the paragraphs,  edited them, made them better and are now publishing them on cards so we can practise speaking them. Room 3 has focused on writing full detailed sentences. We are looking forward to presenting them to each other and then to the junior syndicate.
