Lent
We have learnt that Lent is a season of change .... a time when we can become better people.

Waitangi day learning
Welcome to our year of learning together!
This afternoon we really enjoyed finding out how the Treaty of Waitangi is relevant to us as Room 3 learners. We share read 'The Tree Hut Treaty' by Wiremu Grace, illustrated by Bruce Potter followed by lively class discussion. We then went into four co-operative learning groups to come up with ideas for our own Class Treaty for 2015. It was interesting to find that all the groups came up with very similar ideas. Our next step is to combine the ideas and come up with one treaty for Room 3 which we will sign and honour in 2015.
